Drift Marlow is an American author, composer, and musician based in St. Louis, MO. He is the author of six books including Folding the Fitted Sheet, Casting Shadows of Myself, The Art of Staging Relaxation, A Thimbleful of Time, Sedative Etiquette, and most recently The Southern Fly. Born Morgan Casey and a self taught musician, he fronted the the St. Louis original hard rock band Rude Awakening from 1983-1988 as principal composer, bassist, and vocalist. Morphing into the Drift Marlow persona, he collaborated with the reclusive Aaron Scott and produced original rock, wave, and pop from 1993-1998. His musical style evolved into guitar driven punk/pop from 2000 to present with various players including ex- Dead Celebrity Tony Peteraf and bassist Gene Abel.
